ABOUT ME

I am a Part 2 Architectural Assistant based in London with a First Class BArch degree from the University of Nottingham (2019) and Distinction grade pass from the MArch Collaborative Practice (CP) course from the Sheffield School of Architecture (2022) . Across my six years of study, I have acquired 3 years of practice based experience thanks to the CP route to qualification creating opportunity to continue in my Part 1 practice during fifth year studies and beyond.

Through my practice-based experience, I have worked across sectors and scales, including residential, commercial and culture and tourism, and international contexts. My keen interest lies in the re-use of existing buildings and, more broadly, the integration of sustainable design into the vast spectrum of architectural practices and their processes. I have been educated through a realisation of the climate emergency entering education and practice, albeit not swiftly enough.

It is these processes and the practice cultures which construct them, that I have developed a keen interest in exploring in recent years, in both my academic studies and other written pursuits. This has been an interest fuelled by my alternative route to acquiring RIBA Part 2 qualification, which provided opportunity to reflect on the processes of architectural production and the how, why and what it means to practice as an architect.
